I recently met Javier Moretti, also known as Dexter, at the largest Starbucks in China. The meeting was an interesting foray into the topic of cultural differences, languages, and having mini creative side projects.

Our coffee chat revealed Javier's deep interest in Italian cuisine. He explained that Italians have specific culinary criteria, like avoiding pasta with chicken and the misinterpretation of the meaning "pepperoni" in English. We also discussed cultural differences in punctuality and etiquette between different cultures worldwide.

At the end of our coffees, he asked me to write him a greeting card as he likes to collect them from people he just met. After coffee, we strolled through Shanghai's French Concession, discussing languages and accents.
